Victor young was born on august 8, 1900 in Chicago, Illinois. He died on November 10, 1956 in Palm Springs, California. He was a composer, conductor, violinist and arranger. His family was very musical. He started playing violin when he was six years old. He played before the Russian general. However, the revolution interfered with his thriving career. He was sentenced to death but escaped death. He escaped into Warsaw and later went to Paris and then to the United States. He again went back to Chicago in 1920. From here he went to LosAngeles. He worked as a fiddler.He also worked for ted fio rito as violinist -arranger. He moved to Hollywood in the 1930s and was involved with films. He provided backing for singers.He composed when I fall in love, street of dreams, sweet sue, around the world, love letters and blue star.His studio groups had some of the best jazz musicians.
