    Urmila Matondkar, an Indian film actress, born on Feb 4, 1974, made her debut in screen as a child artist in Kalyug in the year 1980 and shot to fame in 1983 with the film Massom. She made her adult debut in the film Bade Ghar Ki Beti and starred in a fantasy film Chamatkar. She has acted in Malayalam language film in the year 1989 and then collaborated with Ram Gopal Verma, a veteran director of thrillers. She has starred in numerous other language films and also performed solo dances in films. She received Filmfare Best actress award for Rangeela in the year 1995. The other projects were Anaganaga Oku Roju, Daud, Satya, Kaun, Mast, Jungle, Pyar tune kya kiya, Bhoot, and Ek Hasina Thi. She was critically acclaimed for her role in Ek Hasina Thi. She is well known for her different style of acting and dancing and the media has often featured as a sex symbol.
