    Geoffrey Unsworth was a great British filmmaker who has done a great job by working in about 90 films and spending an exceptional 40 years and more. After completing his job as a camera operator in the films featuring great super stars Michael Powell and the greatest actor Emeric Pressburger, he opt for cinematographer in the documentary film The People’s Land in the year of 1941. He was born in the fields of Leigh, Lancashire. But he died in the late 1978 in the states of Brittany, France.

    The work he has done in the film won him a great sector of awards which includes several films. The awards include British Society of Cinematographers, BAFTAS and Academy Awards and lot more. He collaborated with a lot of artists who have their jobs very innovatively and properly. Most of his films have concentrated on musical department. The films are Murder of the Orient Express, A Space Odyssey, Bob Fosse’s and a lot more.
