  • Facts of life

    Perter Falk

Steven Spielberg owes much of his acting credibility to Peter Falk, his mentor who  was a tremendously talented actor to have adorned HOLLYWOOD. Falk had a certain charisma that made him a loved actor among his peers.

His films range from being comedies to dramas. Falk could do comical roles as efficiently as he could perform serious ones. We have seen and appreciated him for playing diverse roles in movies like Happy New Year, Big Trouble and WINGS of Desire. He was the winner of five Emmy awards which were bestowed on him for his powerful performance in the hit series Columbo.

However, this very talented actor lost out on many pivotal roles owing to his dementia that stuck him and made him a favorite of the media. During one such attack of dementia, Falk lost all hopes and shunned the outside world.

Peter Falk was a great actor and had he been alive, could have delivered more.
