    Anthony Edwards born on July 19, 1962 is an Actor and Director. Anthony Edwards has appeared in various commercials and he used his earnings from these commercials to fund his education. He studied acting at Southern California University but was not able to finish his studies because he stopped in 1982. During this year, he was cast for a minor part in the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High led by Sean Penn that became a hit and inspired him to do more films. He had his break in 1983 in the movie Heart like a Wheel where he played as the teenager John Muldowney. He had his big break when he starred as the nerd Gilbert Lowell in the flick Revenge of the Nerds in 1984.

    Before he appeared in ER in 1994, he was cast as Brains in the flick Thunderbirds in 2004 and as Jim Peretta in the film The Forgotten in 2004. While he was doing ER, he had more success as he worked on the set as well as off the set.
