  • Facts of life

    Norman Lear

A class writer, Norman Lear is the producer of mega successful series like Sanford and Son and All in the Family. He is a p[producer who has stuck gold wherever he has laid his hands. Born as a Jewish, Lear left his studies in Boston and served in the Air Force wing of the US Army.

He is a politically inclined person who is also a champion of various causes, mainly humanitarian. There are many awards hid under his kitty like Emmy  and Humanitarian awrds. The main reason behind his humanitarian works is his time served in the Army that changed the way he believed in life. On his return to the civilian world, Lear underwent a drastic change as far as his personality was concerned. Once his stint in the army got over, Lear dabbled in many jobs before trying his luck as a producer.

Lear was probably one man who knew to express himself politically. He never feared getting rebuked for calling a spade- a spade.
