    Quincy Jones

    Born on March 14, 1933, Quincy Delight Jones Junior is also known as Q.  He is an American record producer, arranger, television producer, magazine founder, jazz trumpeter, record company executive, instrumentalist, film producer, composer, conductor and a humanitarian. He has invested six decades of his life in the television industry and received 79 nominations for Grammy awards out of which he has won 27. In 1991, he also received a Grammy Legend Award.

    In the year 2001, he published an autobiography of himself called the ‘Q: The Autobiography of Quincy Jones’. He also launched a Quincy Jones Video Podcast by partnering in with the Wizzard Media in 2007. He talks about the experiences he has had in the music industry. He has also worked with music legends such as Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra. He underwent an accident at the age of 14 which stands as the reason why he has never learned to drive.
