    Amy Brenneman is a successful  American  actress. She was born on June 22, 1964. Amy is also known as a producer. Frederica Joanne, the father of Amy was a judge.

    Amy Brenneman grew up inGlastonbury,Connecticut. She joined theatre at school and became a part of a local theatre group when she was a teenager. She studied and finished college in 1987 at theHarvardUniversity  with a  Major in Comparative Religion.  During her college years, she co-established Cornerstone Theatre Company and she has traveled for this venture some years after she graduated.

    She became popular for her portrayals in several TV show such as ABC series NYPD Blue from 1993-1994. CBS drama Judging Amy aired from 1999-2005. She was found in some movies which as Fear, Heat, Nine Lives, Daylight, 88 Minutes, The Jane Austen Book Club. She received five nominations for Primetime Emmys. She also   achieved three nominations for Globe Awards.
