    Diane was born on November 29, 1935 in Meridian, Mississippi. She was the only child of Mary Bernadette and Preston Paul Ladner. She was a Roman Catholic. Diane married to an actor and also a co-star, Bruce Dern. Both of them had two children. Ladd worked in the theatre also. She also made a debut in the play Carry Me Back to Morningside Heights. Ladd joined the cast of CBS soap opera in the year 1971. She later performed some of the supporting roles in many plays and won many awards. Diane Ladd got Academy awards for the best supporting actress for Rambling Rose, Wild at Heart, Alice Dosen’t Live here anymore. Ladd also got BAFTA awards for the best supporting actress in the play “Alice Dosen’t Live Here Anymore”. Her recent TV series was enlightened in the 2011.
