    Elisabeth Shue, born on October 6, 1963 is an American actress. He achieved her degree atHarvardUniversityin 2000. She married Davis Guggenheim in 1994. She has 3 children.

    Elisabeth Shue started acting in TV commercials after her parents are divorced, and while she was still studying at Columbia H. S. She turned out to be a regular in the advertisements for DeBeers diamonds, Hellmann's mayonnaise, and Burger King.

    Her movie debut was in the year 1984 playing in The Karate Kid as Macchio's character's crush. She also played in short series named Call to Glory where she was a teenager in a military family.

    In 1989, she appeared in the movie Back to the Future (2) and in 1990 in Back to the Future III, where her character was Jennifer Parker. The initial role was Claudia Wells' but she turned down the part, as there was an illness in her family.

    Her debut on Broadway started in 1990, more specifically in Some American Abroad. She also performed in Birth and After Birth produced by Tina Howe in 1993.
