    Born on January 23, 1964 Mariska Hargitayis an American actress. Her name is Mariska Hermann. She is also a producer. She was titled” Miss Beverly Hills” in 1982.

    During the time she was still a student at a Catholic secondary school, called MarymountHigh School, Mariska Hargitay was already active in different activities such as athletics, student government, cheerleading, as well as theater program. After she graduated high school in the year 1982, she joined UCLA because of her love for acting. In the same year, she was named Miss Beverly Hills, USA. Mariska Hargitay appeared in the music video "She loves my car,” and a year later she cast a small role in Ghoulies, a horror movie. She already had an agent and a few roles by the time Hargitay has been just a freshman. Although she joined UCLA's School of Theater, Film, as well as TV, she did not complete her degree as she started her career in acting.
