    Georges delerue was born on March 12, 1925 and died on March 20, 1992. He was born in Roubaix, France. He is the son of Marie Lhoest and georges delerue. He abandoned his studies to work at a factory. Georges studied Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Grieg and Beethoven. He became a composer after he was diagnosed with scoliosis. He was a French composer. Apart from being a composer, he has also played at baptisms, dances, funerals and marriages. Delerue has composed 350 scores for television and cinema. He won three Cesar awards, an academy award for the film little romance, two ASCAP awards. He got nominated for four academy awards for the films the Agnes of God, Julia, Anne of thousand days and the day of the dolphin.He died from a heart attack when he was 67 years old. He left behind daughter Claire and wife, Michelin Gautron.
