    Richard Harris (born October 1, 1930 in Limerick, Ireland, died 25 October 2002 in Fitzrovia in England Hodgkin's disease) is an actor, singer, songwriter, and Irish director. Richard Harris appeared in Mutiny on the Bounty (1962) Camelot (1967), A Man Called Horse (1970) and at the end of his career, in the first two Harry Potter films in the role of Albus Dumbledore.  Known as a playboy and drinker, he was part of a generation of turbulent Irish and British actors Albert Finney, Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole. Richard Harris is the interpreter of the song MacArthur Park. He acted in several movies which include : ), a gunfighter in Clint Eastwood's Western film Unforgiven (1992), an aristocrat and prisoner in A Man Called Horse (1970), a gunfighter in Clint Eastwood's Western film Unforgiven (1992), Emperor Marcus Aurelius in Gladiator (2000), and Albus Dumbledore in both Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
