    She was married successively with Dan Greenbug, Carl Bernstein and Nicholas Pileggi. After her second husband left for Margaret Jay, Nora wrote a novel in 1983 about these events and made a film adaptation in 1986 with Heartburn, headlining, Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep2. Nora Ephron has always continued to write, not rewarded with a continuing success. She died June 26, 2012 as a result of respiratory complications due to leukemia at the age of 71 years. Apart from his film career, Nora Ephron has been married for several years in the 1970s, journalist Carl Bernstein and, as such, be informed of the exact identity of "Deep Throat" informant senior within the FBI in the Watergate scandal. In spring 2005, on the occasion of the publication of the Vanity Fair article revealed that "Deep Throat" was none other than W. Mark Felt, former FBI assistant director in 1972-1973, Nora Ephron said in a weblog, after years of heavy silence on the question of the identity of "Deep Throat", she had decided to reveal his identity to anyone he so requested.
