    Alan Cumming, an American actor of Scottish origin, born ( 27 Jan, 1965) in Perth shire, after his graduation worked for sometime a editor and columnist for TOPS, a Pop and TV magazine and then graduated from the drama school in Glasgow. He made his debut in film in Passing Glory (1986) and his feature film Prague in 1992. He got his Best actor award for acting in Prague at the Atlantic Film Festival. He became familiar to American audiences through Circle of Friends (1995) and he played role in Golden Eye, a James Bond Film. He has acted in number of films, TV shows and directed two short films in the early stage of his career. He declared himself Bi sexual in the year 1998 and an ardent promoter of the rights of LGBT. He helps charities connected with fighting AIDS. During the year 2008, he became a dual national and became a US citizen.
